Matthew Vose Campbell
Graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in English and minors in Philosophy and Sociology. Although he initially considered a career in law, he quickly realized it wasn’t the right path. A turning point came when he took an adult education course with Brad Anderson on the fundamentals of film production — and later worked on Anderson’s film Next Stop Wonderland. That experience revealed his true calling in production.
He joined the acclaimed Red Tree Productions in Boston, where he spent three years climbing the ranks. By the end of his tenure, he was producing high-end broadcast campaigns for clients like Royal Caribbean, Volkswagen, and Monster, collaborating with top agencies including Arnold, Hill Holliday, and DDB.
Matt then relocated to New York City to continue his career, returning to feature films and television while also establishing himself as a 1st Assistant Director. His credits include I Care A Lot, Sound of Metal, and the upcoming The Rivals of Amziah King, marking Matthew McConaughey’s return to the screen after a six-year hiatus. He also continues to work as a Line Producer and Production Manager, most recently serving as UPM on Confess, Fletch, the $35 million Jon Hamm-led reboot of the classic franchise.
Matt’s ability to move seamlessly between projects of all sizes has given him a broad range of experience — one he brings to every production he joins.
